That is before Bow realizes that they scheduled their kitchen remodel for this day. When the doorbell rings it catches them both by surprise. The entire scene feels like the two barely know each other. She sheepishly asks if he’d like to go to brunch. Dre says that he’s going to head into work, which surprises Bow since it’s a Saturday.
